Warning

You may feel dizzy or unsteady on your feet. Use caution if you drive or operate a machine. Anyone with hyperkalemia cannot take it under normal circumstances. Seek medical advice if you suffer nausea, diarrhea poor appetite, disturbed pulse, fatigue, bloodshot eyes, swelled eyelids, or sores of membranes.

If used with Tacrolimus (Prograf) or eplerenone (Serara), the drug may cause initial hyperkalemia symptoms, such as numbness in hands, legs, and lips, paralysis of limbs, or muscle reduction. If used with mitotane (Opeprim), mitotane may lose power.
