What for?

The drug to delay digestion and absorption of sugar and suppress rise in blood sugar after meals.

Efficacy

The drug to suppress the action of the enzyme that dissolves starch into sugar and delay its digestion and absorption so as to prevent a surge in blood sugar after the meal.

Warning

Take it before the meal. You may feel bloated or fart frequently. Take glucose or any drink containing much glucose at the time of low blood sugar. Seek medical advice if you suffer fatigue, poor appetite, jaundice, continuous stomachache, or nausea. Pregnant women cannot take it under normal circumstances.
