What for?

An iron preparation normally used for children to cure iron-deficiency anemia.

Efficacy

The drug is an iron agent to be used to provide iron when it is in short supply. The drug to enhance the hemopoietic role of iron at the bone marrow and cure ion deficiency anemia.

Warning

The drug may cause diarrhea and vomiting to infants. The doctor starts with a small amount for them and increase the amount gradually. Follow the instruction. The drug contains iron that may turn feces black. The drug may lose power if used with an antacid agent.

interaction

If the drug is used with Cefdinir (Cefzon), Tetracycline antibiotics, new quinolone antibacterial drugs, or thyroid hormone preparations, these agents may lose power. The drug may lose power if used with food containing antacid agent or tannic acid. Be sure to secure enough intervals for respective medications.
